I’m not sure if this is a continuing effect of the patches or something else, but here in the deepest darkest Britain, it is a little past 3 in the morning and I am wide awake. I slept, for maybe 5 hours, but found myself tossing and turning in the middle of the night and eventually gave up, got up and made a cuppa.
The patches I am using for my nicotine fix are meant to be worn for 16 hour stretches, so I take the patch of before bed. Apparently this is better than the 24 hour patches as they interfere with your sleep patterns.
Hmmm, maybe something else is keeping me awake then.
